When I install my Y-Pipe, it replaces the stock Y? Does my muffler attach to my cat, or to my Y pipe? b/c The Y pipe and Muffler are coming in at different days, and my buddy is welding the muffler on, if the muffler welds to the Y pipe, let me know, cause I don't want to weld the muffler to the stock pipe, and a week later find out the Y needs to weld to the muffler

HEHE! Wow. Funny post but anyhoo.......

In the restrictions of this post, the exhaust flow like this.

Heads to exhaust manifolds to Y-pipe to cat to section of exhaust pipe(one piece) to resonator(if any) to short section of exhaust pipe to muffler.

So you can install the Y and muffler on different days. But if the shop is doing the install on the Y, just have them do it on the same day and save costs?

heh, I meant, is it hard? if it requires rebuilding my engine block i'd probably get a professional, but if it's just bolts and stuff, and it's simple, no problem.

Check our our install instructions (Warpspeed)

I have not followed the thread as to which system you bought but go to our site as we have install instructions which should give you a pretty good idea as to what you or your buddy will be up against.

They all go on pretty much the same way with perhaps the exception of the muffler. If you or your buddy do it use jack stands.

We have a friend with a muffler shop who only charges $60.00 to install our entire system from Y pipe to muffler. Just for your info.
