Poll: GD on Angel Eye Kit for Maxima 2002+

Just a show of hands on how many people will be interested on the angel eyes ring for the 2002+ headlights. Currently the VW Forum is having a group deal on the kit. The link and there are some pics of kit on the VW 337.
http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=510165

I think the similar headlight setup will actually work for the 2002+ Maxima, just like A33 who used the BMW Rings. But what makes this diffferent is that like the Golf. One ring is bigger than the other.
They need 30 ppl to get it $128 Shipped in the US.
The kit includes:
2 x Hi beam light rings (w/ wiring and light)
2 x Low beam light rings (w/ wiring and light)
8 x Tap-in connectors

Just say yea or nay. Thank You.

Whoever is interested can contact jetium@hotmail.com He has them and currently I'm hosting a GD on them at VW Vortex. The price is $128 shipped in the Cont. US
He is well known on the VW Vortex Forum so don't have to worry about his creditbility.

The reason I'm letting you Maxima Members know about this is because I notice A33 has done them to his 2002+ headlights w/ BMW Hella rings. Which both are equally sized and expensive. But the one Jetium sells are one small ring for the hi beam and one large ring for the lo beam. Also if you have a custom mold made for our headlights like the IS300 boys are doing, its very expensive. He includes the light and wiring w/ tap connectors. Where you can connect them to your parking lights or a separate switch.

Here is a pic of them on the VW Golf:

Any other questions email me.
PS I am getting them for my 02 Altima. So pretty much a custom job type of ordeal.

I'm very interested.

Will this kit fit our lights without grinding/sanding? Or are we going to have to force it to fit.

Are these Fiber or LED rings?

Do they go all the way around, or only 90% with the top not lit?

I will buy them if they are Fiber. The problem with LEDs is they are not as bright, and over time may burn out.

That is a remarkable deal, either way; the Hella E36 ones are nearly triple that. There have been numerous post here about the angel eyes and I bet you'll find a few willing to participate.

These are LED lights, not fiber ones because our cars aren't equiped like that. If you use fiber you have to drill a hole on your headlights for the fiber to pass thru. Also you don't need to grind or sand anything. Just use clear epoxy to attach the ring to the outer lip area. Or you can see A33's post on how he did his.
None of the rings out there incl. BMW 5 series go all the way around. Unless you get some ricey Honda headlights w/ the angel eyes. They have for now. Yes they are whitish blue color. A33 used a different led color bulb.

So are you saying that the Angel Eye kit being advertised here in this thread, is the exact same one as shown in this pic on the Golf? That is an LED kit?

I've been interested in this deal but I was going to spring for the BMW E36 or E46 Angel Eyes. A33 Pm'd me and told me his were from a BMW E46. Any chance of getting a GD on BMW angel eyes?
Can these LED lights be wired up to a separate switch or wired to the fog or park light switch? Also, will these be custom to fit 2002+ headlights so they dont have that weird space in one spot on them? Thanx...
