Fuse cover Q

The fuse block cover (the 3 x 4 inch panel with the
finger-grab bit that's by your left shin when you drive) keeps popping off.
I can't see anything wrong with it, but it doesn't take much of a bump to knock it out of place.

Any suggestions on a fix?

And don't say tape or a screw - I want it to look stock and still provide easy access.
TIA

i have the same problem, i think i caused it too, oh well. I fixed it by using my hair dryer and heating it up good and just bending it slightly so it will put pressure on the surrounding area so it will not pop out all the time. Hope this helps. let me know how it works out

you said no tape but im going to say this anyways, I used some electrical tape and wrapped the latch thats on the backside of the panel so that it fits more snug on the dash so it doesnt come loose anymore

Mad Dahn -
When you say you bent it,
you mean that you kind of straightened it out,
taking the curve out of it slightly
and in effect making it longer - right?
Sounds like a good solution...

Nismo -
When I said "no tape" I just meant that I didn't want to tape it from the outside and have the dash look sloppy.

I think I'll try both methods. Between the two the pannel/door should stay in place.

Thanks all
