I'm installing a remote starter in my 89' and I'm having a little trouble determining the tach wire. I really really don't want to choose the right one...

At the ECU, there is a big silver box with a smaller box on top. The wire I'm looking at is in the harnesss going to the big box. Its a green/black/silver small gauge wire.

Is that the one?

 

pm matt or craig...they know all this handy dandy stuff...thats how i got where my tach wire was, but im sure mine is diff from yours (94se auto)

 

Well, what was your's? I've just got my system set on current sense. It does the job, but I'll probably eventually go with the tach wire, though.
