One fine day, the front passenger door window slipped down into the door all by itself. The electric window lift controls had no effect, except for a clicking noise at the up position.

After disassembling the inner door panel and examining the mechansim, the cable on the the upper track pulley has jumped off, the nylon upper track pulley has a chunk missing on the side ridge where the cable jumped out.

The regulator which rides up and down the fixed track and carries the window is intact, with the epoxy glue joints that hold the window glass to the regulator still holding perfectly.

The lift cable joint to the regulator has come loose.

How do you reconnect the lift cable to the regulator? How do you replace the upper nylon pulley? Will the window glass have to be shattered to get the regulator & track out of the door to order to make the cable clamp repair?
