Aftermarket keyless entry, alarm's got mind of its own.

I'm in a little bit of a sticky wicken on account of that i installed the keyless entry on my 91 se, and now when its all locked up and i unlock it using the keychain, and open the rear passenger door first, the alarms goes off like a ****. I hate this problem. I know that its not the wiring job i did. Anyway have this same kind of situation?

did you do some additional wiring to disarm the stock alarm when you unlock with the remote? if not, search on here; I've posted instructions a couple times before for how to do that using a diode

for some reason, the alarm isn't getting disarmed (obviously) but it's hard for us to tell whats going on since it's an aftermarket unit

I dont exactly know what you are referring to. When i installed the aftermarket unit, i tied the unlock and lock lines right into the wires that came from the door at the switch (drivers door), figuring this was the easiest way to avoid any kind of problems. So its like if the doors were unlock from the switch on the inside. This should cause no problems at all. But with the setup i have, its like the driver unlocks the doors and when somebody gets out from the rear drivers side, the alarm goes off.
