first time i've ever been. I went with a friend who has an eagle talon TSI AWD.

i raced 4 times since it's my first time, i was a bit nervous...

i managed to beat one car... can't remember what it was. and get this, i lost to a stock friggin sunfire... OMG! I had one guy in my car with me and i took out my spare just for that night...

for some reason i managed to do 1st gear pretty well, i would keep up or pass the cars. I just don't know what hapenned with 2nd. I have an STS yet I still feel like i shifted slowly.

For the sunfire (very sad sad story...) I passed him by a carlength at takeoff, but once i went into second he passed me.

Any ideas other than crappy shifting? ;-) hehe
any techniques are extremely welcomed

only mod so far is a ypipe and a new stock air filter

as a side note, my friend with the TSI was incredible... he smoked everything there except 2 cars. one was a crx and the other was a civic with a prelude engine and some other stuff done to it. I was extremely surprised when he won against a 350 big block pickup.

So what did you run 60ft, 330ft and 1/8 ET/trap?

 

I wish they had the setup... it was 5$ to get in and as many runs as you want. But they have nothing to measure your times.
