I got mine at PepBoys in the hot rod section. Made by Mr.Gasket. They're locking with a little key and are almost totally flush. No pins that are gonna rust on me!

Let's sound it out:

Hood Pin

It's a device that 'pins' the 'hood' down. Self explanatory, no?

Without it, your first trip in the freeway could quickly flush your $600 investment down the tube. Err, well, or all over the freeway.

yah i saw on cnn and fox 25 they reported 40% of cars losing their hoods on the freeway and such causing 5 car accidents..you might need some super glue and extra duck tape to keep that baby down

It's certainly not hard. But you do need a helper.

You cant line-up and hold and bolt on both sides at the same time all by yourself. lol

sorry james, your car is lookin sweet. But DO NOT GET HOOD PINS! let the hood breathe alone, it looks much better.

Too late.

I needed the hood pins anyway because the passenger side rode up higher than the other side in the front above the headlights.

So the hood pins work as hood pins, and as holding that side down even. I'd rather have hood pins than a warped/non-fitting hood. lol

Atleast yours are real. There are several honda boys around here with stock hoods and fake pins.
