indiglo's sticking....how can i fix this?

I just installed reverse indiglo gauges on my 95 max today, and the one problem i was worried about happened. the needles like to stick. i fixed the tach. needle and it moves freely, but the speedo. gets stuck at 45, and i cant tell if the fuel gauge is working or if thats stuck too, any help on how i can fix this or something would be appreiated, thanks.

try and make a full circle around the outside of the gauge, the screws should hold the middle
