Hey guys.... lately I have been noticing that my Max jerks whenever I let off the gas completely. This only happens in OD when I am going over 45 mph, but it happens pretty consistently. Could it be the spark plugs? I dont know how long its been since they have been replaced. Could it be something with the tranny? It isn't that bad, but its still really annoying and I don't want it to turn into a bigger problem. What else should I check and what else could be the problem? BTW, I have an auto. Thanks!

it's normal, mine does that too...since new.. and now 74k miles.. just turn on the OD to stop the jerkness~~~ i guess it's one of the design fault of maxima's auto transmission..

 

try cleaning ure Throttle Body. I bet it's pretty dirty.

 

Cleaning your throttle body makes a huge difference in smoothness. You may want to check your motor mounts as well.

 

How do I check whether the motor mounts are still good? I tried searching.... but all I could find was how to replace them.
