Just got the Frankencar Intake, but...

I ordered the FrankenCar intake for my Max about 4 days ago and I was really surprised to recieve it so soon. I have read so many posts regarding the shipments of the intakes. I am VERY impressed with the quality of machining that was done and the ease of installation.

Anyways, I noticed I now have my check engine light on and I am not sure what I can do to remedy this problem. When I installed the intake I saw that there was two sensors. The MAF sensor of course and then there was a sensor that was conected to the original airbox. I was unsure what to do with that or where to place it so I disconnected it and taped it off. Is this the right way to deal with this sensor. My gut says "NO" but I haven't seen any posts regarding this either. Any help will be greatly appreciated as I am now in love with the growl the Max now makes under WOT. Thanks in advance!

Plug that thing back in man. Zip tie it near the air filter. If the light doesn't go out then you might have to reset your ecu. At least you plugged your MAF sensor back in...? I forgot to do that once...and it was not a pretty sound.

do this: disconnect your battery tonite (just remove the wire connected to negative terminal) and leave it like that for the night.... and tomorrow morning, just connect it back... start your engine and leave it running w/o revving it or turning the wheel or whatnot for about 5 min. Hopefully your CEL will not be on when you start the car and the 5 min allows the car's ECU to run through and you may notice your car performance even better than before...
