Adding shock sensor to factory alarm
Adding shock sensor to factory alarm
I saw where someone did this but I think it was on a 1999 MAx and I have a 1996, In the Haynes manual the wiring for the two are different. Any one have the instructions on how to do this in a 1996(GXE auto).(what wires to use) I can kinda figure out the power and ground.

Shock sensor to a factory alarm is not good. Here is why/... The factory alarm is activated by the cylinder inside the door. So if someone turns that cylinder with a screw driver then ur alrm is off. Then your rear doors are not protected either. Just spend $200 on a Attermarket alarm like VIPER. The Aftermarket Alarm turns on ONLY with a remote and can not be by-passed like factory alarm. In 20seconds someone can scan ur code into their remote. There are more things to it so its your call. Good luck.
