timing belt change advice?

I'm going to be replacing the timing belt on my '92 sohc, and was curious if anyone had any tips or advice on things that I may want to watch out for, or just to make the job go a bit smoother.
Thanks.

Re: timing belt change advice?

Go here and read; this is the motor in a Mercury Villager,
but it's the same as the SOHC Maxima motor (with a few minor
changes). Guy includes pictures, diagrams, and instructions...
Good information if you are contemplating this...

not sure if the article mentions it but while your in there you'll want to replace:

tensioner
thermostat

cam seals (if needed)
all drive belts
