Just got my 92SE a couple of weeks ago and I'm still fumbling a bit for switches when driving at night. Got most of them nailed except for the radio station presets on the Bose system that I still have to feel around for. There are no lights on these things on my stereo and I can't tell if there could be bulbs behind the little white numbers. If there are supposed to be lights I'll hunt for a fuse, but if there's no lights then I need a few more weeks of night driving to be able to hit the right button the first time in the dark.

trying to figure this out too... i have the BOSE cassette unit and the only thing that lights up is the radio station LCD and the 'stereo' and 'FM' lights right above it. No presets or anything.

 

On my 93 there are actually TWO lights behind the button. At night, when the radio plays, presets 1-6 light up. When a tape plays, the tape symbols light up, and the 1-6 are not visible.

OK OK OK, YES!!! Finally someone else has this problem. I have the CD/tape combo and like you said the ones for the radio light up and the other ones don't. I have to thump them real hard to get them to come back on. if ANYONE knows how to fix this, tell me. Also the ones behind my A/C unit went out. How do you fix this?
