My speedometer went out...how do I fix it?

This past weekend I noticed that my speedometer was stuck at zero while I was driving. Sometimes the speedo will go in and out intermitently. Everything else in the cluster works as far as I know. The trip odometer seems to be working fine, as well as the tachometer, and temp gauge.

I did a search and found that the problem could be the speed sensor. Someone else said that if the rest of the cluster works, that it could be a faulty cluster. Can anyone help me diagnose the problem?

I figure that I could start by cleaning out the speed sensor harness and see if that fixes things. Where exactly is the speed sensor harness located in the engine bay??

Thanks

Thanks lilcc...I was hoping it wasn't the cluster cuz I know how expensive they can be to replace.

Anyone else have any suggestions or comments?

Thanks again,
Kevin
