I have been thinking about adding boost to my max lately, I have been real lazy about modding my 98 since

1. I don't think i'll have the car that long (really holding out for the 3.5L in 02),
2. its an auto, I really love driving manual trannys and my previous 2 maxes were both manual but my wife cannot drive stick and loathes the idea of me getting another manual) women, can't live withem...........
3. i've already put ~80K on my engine.

One of my biggest concerns is the noise. I have never heard the sound of a boosted max but I hear that the sound of the S/C when spooling (if thats the correct term) is really loud. Anyone got any feedback on what the S/C adds in the way of noise, exhaust, engine, etc? I already know what it will do for performance. I really want a fast sleeper since I only plan on updating the braking and suspension and adding a modest set of 16" or 17" rims. Any opinions from the boosted vets??????????
