I'm in the process of installing new brakes and sway bars, and tonight I got the fronts done. I had to get new rotors since my OEM 100K ones were too thin to turn. so I got the generic parts store brand 'Trust' (nothing to do with GReddy/Trust I'm sure!). They cost $33 each and seem to be good quality. I put them on with KVR carbon fiber brake pads. I had KVR's on my Celica and loved them... no noise, very very low dust, great cold stopping power, and excellent when warm. Plus they last forever! anyway so far they work great, but they are still breaking in I'm sure.

Front sway bar went in easily, I'm surprised at how different the Suspension Techniques sway bar is from stock! susTec uses different end links, requiring different curves in the bar itself. The factory end links had a lot of slop in them, as did the frame bushings, WOW they were rubbery! The sustec pro-thane bushings were rock solid. Also the sustec bar is MUCH stiffer and heavier, the OEM bar was VERY light. There was a slight clearance problem with the driver side frame bushing contacting a drain hole in the suspension subframe.... but I added a couple of washers on the bolt and it worked fine. Turns in much quicker, it's quite noticeable. and it can only get better when I put the rear bar on tomorrow!
