My car is so unstable over bumps, I hate it! Anything I can do to eliminate that?

Peace.

Got stock suspension?

If so ... go aftermarket.

How would a stiffer suspension absorb the bumps better than a softer stock suspension?

Thanks.

Do you want the car to absorb bumps or be more stable?

My car is only unstable over bumps and such, otherwise it is smooth and stable. So, I want for my car to be as smooth and stable as possible over bumpy roads.

Thanks.

Cant do too much with the stock suspension. Possible that your struts are blown. Anyway the unstableness is characteristic of excellent maxima design. Even consumer reports reported a 98 that they had tested exhibited rubbery side to side jolts over uneven pavement.
