Phantom Grip LSD. SCC (Nov. 2002) actually liked it...should we rethink?

Should we rethink our skeptical position on the Phantom Grip LSD. Sport Compact Car (Nov. 2002) actually liked it...They installed it in a hopped-up 200SX. They seem to think it is a great value for the money. Might we want to rethink our skepticism over whether it can handle the power? Sure, it is not as good as the I30 LSD or a Quafie, but might it be a low-cost option for guys running stock or just bolt-ons?

I think it was pretty reasonable...

I remember seeing an ad from Dynamic Turbo a long time ago. IIRC, it was only $250. I remember reading that article in SCC. They said how it forces the differential into working like an LSD. That can't be good for the stock diff, though the damage might only be on a long-term basis.
