Cold Air Intake Dieing?

Helloo,
Recently I have noticed my CAI is not as "loud" as it was before today I was on getting on the highway and during acceleration I could not here it at all, I check and the filter is still on there. every thing is tight and connected no gaps no air getting out. Any Ideas? its kinda ****en me off cuz I loved that sound and not its pretty much gone Also I have a greddy SP exhaust and thats not really loud at all either, at least not like everyone on hear says anyway. Well any suggestions, ideas etc would be great. Thanks guys.

I made a fibreglass short ram intake, and I too notice changes in volume and pitch of my intake. Although, the changes are almost always related to ambient temps, humidity, etc.
