So you didnt make any runs to post any HP and Torque numbers? those are what we call airforce cargo straps and they should have had extra ones.

I should have taken a couple more videos for you all.. first of me not being able to stand up because i was soo shaken after the smoke cleared out of the place.. and secondly, of my tires that litterally had to be peeled off of the dyno.. they were complete slicks w/ the tread ONLY of that little X design on the dyno..

it was a nice little episode, wish we had it on video it was a combo of them braking the dyno as i slid sideways, trying to keep it on the dyno, and hittin the brakes as i was yelled to do - it was all quite retarded in my opinion, im a little afraid to visit that place again.

you broke the dyno!

Congrats! After you calm down a bit that nothing got seriously screwed up on your car, you'll probably laugh about this and have a little pride in it. heheh

Glad everything is okay otherwise though!

Did the tie down straps get routed under your wastegate dump or exhaust by any chance?

The straps look melted.

A Dynojet is designed to handle up to 1200 whp.

Can't get the vid

Must be busy or something.

I've got Cable access and it stops at 31% downloaded

I'll try again later. Sounds hairy. Glad you are OK.

I kept it on that stupid metal thing, so not close. I consider myself lucky

who pays for your car if it comes off the dyno and totals it and you live? i know they would, just would I have to take them to court over it? I never signed any kind of waiver saying "if you wreck your car.."

Yeah, they definitely look melted through. Looks like operator error to me. They're paying for the tires, right?

from the looks of it they only had 2 straps holding you down in the front.

is that correct?

there should be at least 4, more like 6-8, holding your car down

I have seen cars put down 500 hp and 500 lbs TQ and NEVER seen a strap break, but they were held down with 8 straps.. it also looks melted

I WOULD NEVER go back there unless they were willing to pay for the tires and the dyno time

Rear dyno straps? They let it touch the muffler, huh?
