Cruise Control Removal

Who has removed their crusie control? I have been reading through posts and heard of the suggestion, but who has actually done it? Does the system weigh a lot?

I think you're a bit out of your mind. The cruise control can't weigh more than 1 to 2 lbs. Please don't strip your Maxima. it's not a race and there really isn't that much you can pull out to make it lighter. If you want to go faster, get rid of the wheels and by a shorter belt that bypasses the A/C.

It probably weighs 5 pounds total. Not worth the effort.
