Found ECU for 1998 max

Any one heard of JET Performance?? I check out their website today and found an ECU upgrade, and a Jet V-force control module for all nissan V6's. They also have a dyno of a 1998 maxima with a stage 1 ecu. Results show a gain of about 11 hp average. Worth to check out. I'm considering getting the V Force, since it's less work and u don't have to send in the original ecu . Here is the linkhttp://www.jetchip.com/

Re: Found ECU for 1998 max

I just looked at their dyno for the 1998 and I suggest others do the same. Correct me if I'm wrong, but their dyno seems unlike any 4th gen I've ever seen. Based on this dyno, HP just keeps rising until it hits a maximum at redline (6500rpm). This is for both stock and their JET upgrade. Even with the VI, our cars seem to plateau at around 6000rpm... this guy's 1998 does even better. Sounds like BS to me.

I've heard nothing but bad things about this chip. Do a search on the .org and I bet you don't find one good thing about it.

I had a JET ECU on my 96 for a few days. I assure you it DID work, the car felt really good. However I must agree with everyone else, that JET is not up to par with JWT/ G force, and I certainly wouldn't spend money on that V-force thing they advertise, it's useless. Also that dyno they show is complete BS, anyone who knows a VQs power curve would notice that right away. That's a complete fake. If it were real it would be a scanned dyno, not some fake thing they put together on Excel like that appears to be.

B.S.

Look at their dyno on the 1996 Honda 1.6 vtec.

1. No stock 1996 honda civic will have 152 hp to the wheels. Period.
2. No stock 4 cyl honda will have 152 to the wheels AT 6500 RPM!! B18c1 makes ~150 ish at 7800 rpm.

I would not beleive a single thing on this site.
