Freakin alternator

My alternator has officially died for the 3rd time this year. And miraculously, I received my recall notice this afternoon. Does leaving my lights and fg lights on all the time when i drive have anything to do with my alternators going so quick.....maybe from strain on it? I'm stumped.

Not to the point where your looking at 3 a year. Are you getting these rebuilt? Who installing them? Who are they made by?
