KYB+Sprint give me a Bouncy feel...WHY?

Hi! I just installed my KYB AGX and Sprint lower spring, Addco swaybar , and Stillen FSTB and RSTB, Brembo Rotor, AXXIS brake pad. After we finished installation, I tested my car. The handling was good , but it gave me a bouncy feeling , not stable on the bumppy road. I tried to adjust the shock to be the hardest level (front 4 , rear 8), it still didn't give me a smooth ride. What is your setting on KYB AGX + spring. Should I try to set the shock to the lowest level? What should I do ?

PS: I didn't change my rims to be 18'', I used stock rims when I tested my car, it that maybe a reason to me to feel bouncy ?
If I need a comfy and smooth ride, do I have to change to have new set of spring?

i got that same set up (spring and kyb and i have kyb at 2 and 4). It is mad bouncy. the car takes every bump and eats it but its like mad bumpy. Not too bad for me to complain but for better handling i guess its worth it. I stick to the ground

I tried to decrease the strut setting to #1 for both front and rear. Now it is giving me a smooth ride............... Not bouncy any more...........I LOVE IT Very good handling, no one can't beat Sprint price and performance

there is BOUNCY, and STIFF

bouncy is like a spring oscillation, as if the car was like a caddy. if THAT is happening, then turn up the rebound settings on your AGX.

if it's too STIFF, as is bone jarring, then turn it down.

That doesn't make sense. I think you are taking about stiffness and not bounce. Bounce is caused by compression of the spring, and for the tendency for the car to bounce after hitting a bump, which is why we use shock absorbers. They basically work against the spring. When you stiffen up a shock, the spring's actions are impeded, therefore after hitting a bump, it stops bouncing sooner, but makes bump absorption a little stiffer. When you loosen a shock, the spring is allowed to work more freely, therefore, after hitting a bump, it would allow more bouncing.

This is why when you see a car with blown out shocks, it bounces like mad.

I think you've got the softest settings on your front/rear agxs.
