Nose Mask for the winter

I was thinking of getting a nose mask to protect the horrible soft nissan paint from salt and road debri during the winter. Espcially since I just got the car back from the repair shop w/ a brand new painted front bumper. What do you guys think I should do?

First off, depending on what brand of clear coat they used, it may be much harder then Nissan paint.

2nd - you cannot leave the nose mask on when your car is dirty and you must take it off when it gets wet. You will ruion your paint if you leave the mask on the car to long with out cleaning and protecting the paint. The directions that come with the mask will tell you that as well. You must have a nice coat of wax on before using the mask too.

Yup. A kid at my school used to have one for like a year without thinking about it took it off and there was some paint removed, discolored spots, in general a big mess. Make sure you take it off once a week or so to clean it justto be sure.
