skyline steering wheel

I bought this skyline wheel about 4 months ago and now i want to put it on. Has anyone done this to their MAX? If not does anyone know if it will fit on my car. The wheel is from a R32 skyling GTR. Thanks!!!!

I dont remember readin on here about anyone doing that, but what about the airbags? Does it have a place for that? Or does it have any of the other steering wheel controls the max does? This might not just be an easy swap....

That's funny. The Skylines that I've seen have the same steering wheel on my Maxima...that is the 97 SE steering wheel. I see a good number of Skylines (a lot of tuners in Huntington Beach) and the guy down the block owns one too. Most of the Skylines change to an aftermarket wheel, but I'm pretty sure the R33 and possibly the R34 have the same steering wheel that the SE's have...the black leather steering wheel.

I think it should fit, otherwise you can just get a kit that makes it fit. I saw that you need that for momo steering wheels.

get a haynes manual. look at the maxima steering wheel removal section and see if the wire harnesses and clock springs will match up. there are some pictures in there. if not then just take the maxima steering wheel off and see if all the harnesses will match up. remmeber if you want to be able to use the controls on the steering whel then you have to keep the clock spring installed. its really simple just make sure you disconnect the battery terminal when your removing the air bag.
