i've read a few posts about problems with the Courtesy FSTB, specially on 99 SE-L's. i for one had problems with mine..it was buldging up my hood. i called Courtesy and told them about it.. they said that i had to send the bar back and they would send me the right one, since i had gotten the wrong part.
My question is.. is the other bar going to present the same problems?.. is there a bar in the market that will fit my 99 SE-l properly without running into these issues?.. should i just get my money back?.. help!!!
btw i have the courtesy bar A33, with the closed brackets.

please don't come down on me hard calling me incompetent newbie, or moron.. this is real.

 

if they don't send you the right part this time then i would tell them to just go ahead and give me my money back. just my $.02

thought it was, that they send you the 5th gen fstb?

 

my courtesy FSTB has the closed brackets and it fit okay on my SE-L. you can tell its right up against the hood when you close it, but i don't think it effects anything.
