Courtesy Nissan has several FSTB listings, but none say directly for the 2k model. Which one will fit? Is there a better source than Courtsey Nissan?

Sorry, not too sure about Courtesy stuff. Maybe one of the other people can help you out.

So far there are FTSB's made from Courtesy, Stillen, and CustomBeats (ask MaximaZero about the last one).

The courtesy will fit but requires you to cut part of your air filter box off using a hacksaw or other implement. The Stillen one requires no modifications but is more expensive. Performance is supposed to be the same. I went with Courtesy for the price difference.

can't beat this

raise the car using a floor jack. jack it up from the engine support beam or what ever u call it.. tis' its towards the front of the car int he middle. after rasing it up the chassis flex is no longer flexed from the weight. so your shock towers should b around 2-3cm further apart from what they used to be. get a nice peice of solid bar. stick it in between the two strut towers, weld. hahah woo hoo there u go.. and u can tell ppl it's oem.

I think I'll stick with my ghetto-rigged courtesy FSTB. It was an easier install.

Since we are on the subject of FSTB, did U guys jack your car when U installed it or just take the 3 screws off the Strut tower and put the plate on? Something tells me I didn't do something right.. the front of my car looks jacked up. and how tight do I make this thing? keep tightening it until it won't go or what? b/c sometimes when I put my car in reverse I hear 1 (ONE) TIC Noice like something hit but thats the only time. Wonder if the damn thing hit the top of the Hood? Any Answers?

Take the screws off and put the plates on. No need for jacking. Make sure you don't over torque the nuts. I believe they are suppose to be either 23 lbs. or 32 lbs (no funny jokes please ). Too lose and it won't do you any good, too tight and it'll break. My bar rubs against the top of the hood at a certain spot... so I know it's doing it's job.

No noise, no jacking

I didn't jack my car up either. Did the install in a target parking lot after buying my hacksaw. I live in apartments that don't have a lot of flat ground available for our use. The install including sawing took around 10-15 minutes and has been working fine ever since.

One for sale on Ebay

Hey, I just found this on ebay. It looks basically like the Courtesy bar except the ends are blue, not red. The current bid price is cheaper than courtesy's so I thought I'd post it.
