Hello all!

I have attended a couple Maxima meets and have several friends who own one. I myself wouldn't mind one for a personal vehicle.

Last weekend, or maybe the weekend before, I stopped by the Northeastern Maxima Meet in CT on my way back from driving this car @ Englishtown Speedway in NJ.

How fast do you think this car does in the 1/4 mile? Bear in mind it weighs about 4,000+ lbs, and is on street tires, not to mention owned by a US Parks Police Officer.

Just seeing what the perception might be.

 

I've seen two crown vics at the track and neither were even close to hitting the 15s.

But this one apparently hits 12's.

Seeing the name of the website "vortech vic" I'm guessing the 12.0-13.9 range.

 

just from judging from the pictures, i would say 12.-13.9 because the driver is wearing a helmet.

i don't know if this is wrong, but aren't you supposed to wear a helmet when running 13's?
