What e-brake handles fit on the 4g e-brake?

I'm looking at some shift ***** and e-brake handles, and I was just wondering which e-brake handles fit on the 4th gen Maxima.

I know the Momo ones do, but I'd never spend that much money on show, and not go.

I think I'm going to end up going with something like the sola luna in chrome for the shift ****, but as for the ebrake, I have no idea.

Thanks for the comment, the e-brake I believe was $80. On hot summer days it burns your hand though but it's worth it

Checked your Homepage... looks good.. but ONE THING!

Looks like they gave you the Manual Shifter Plate (aluminum interior kit).. instead of Automatic? Maybe you should ask them to send you the correct one?

the manual shifter piece is a little wider, it leaves a little bit of plastic showing on the inside of the shifter and its a little bit shorter overall... not really a big difference

Re: What e-brake handles fit on the 4g e-brake?

RSpeed sells ebrake handles and shifter ***** for Miatas that fit the Maxima perfectly. Pretty inexpensive compared to Momo/etc but they look really nice...polished aluminum, etc - simple but classy.

Their satin aluminum ebrake handle is here:
http://www.rspeed.net/miata/item.asp...9&prod=531-119
The only downside is you have to use your OEM brake handle button...the Miata ones are screw on whereas ours use a hook. I suppose one could modify it but I don't know how.

I like the styling, like you said, simple but classy. How do you know its a direct replacement without fitment issues? I'd like to see it on a Maxima first. tks.

More on the luxury side than sport side, but a handle many people seem to overlook is the leather handles from the I30. They look just like ours but are real leather. That's what's on my to-buy list.

Are you sure the e-brake handle fits as well? I thought only the shift **** did.

If I can confirm the Sola Luna e-brake handle, sold by RSpeed fits on the Maxima, I'll probably order matching shift **** and e-brake handle.

I'd be up for that.

Sorry it took so long for me to chime back in, but I personally have the Sola crinkle black ebrake handle and shift **** installed on my car. The ebrake handle fits very well over the exisiting steel brake handle...just pull off the stock one. To get a very snug fittment, I actually did have to wrap a layer or two of electrical tape over the metal base to get the new handle to fit snugly. The only minor problem with fittment is a similar one to the Sola shift ****. Just like how the **** sits up higher and leaves a gab between the top of the boot and the bottom of the ****, with the ebrake handle there's a gap between the boot and ****. Very simple fixes in both cases, though. I cut a small ~1/2" long section of rubber hose on the shift lever to push the boot up against the bottom of the shift **** and did a similar thing to the ebrake handle. With this, the Sola **** and ebrake handle fit *perfectly*.

I actually later replaced my stock boot with another aftermarket one that doesn't have the slit/snaps. Looks even better. Sorry, I forgot the company's name.

Also, sorry guys I don't have a digi camara so don't have any pics.

How does one remove his/her brake handle anyway? I see no screws. Just use a hammer?

Re: :o)

Just pull it off towards the button. Have to pull really hard, but it slides right off...it's press-fit.

Pcitures from StygianMax's interior

It's made by Alpena.

The shift **** is a Momo Race Air leather.
