Im just curious what you auto maximas with sc's run? The smx max I saw ran like a 14 but I assume that was with stock pully and not really tuned? Just curious what type of gains people get especially with the auto...Thanks,

See sig. I'm running the 3.125 pulley. Check out the 1/4 mile forum for more details on my runs. I think I need to get a AFC and get it tuned and dynoed. So it might not even be running to its full potential yet. I'm shooting for high 13s even though it's untuned and will run on street tires.


I'm wondering would tuning the car make a big difference? I'm not sure if it's worth buying a $300+ AFC and then spend the money for a dyno tune.

So if I buy an AFC and bring it to the dyno place, they should take care of everything right because I wouldn't know what to do?

 

14.7 on stock pulley with only a catback and near-end-of-life street tires.

I have since done a tranny rebuilt/torque converter, a VB mod, a Y-Pipe, a Carsound cat and done a little weight reduction. I have to go to the track. Looking forward to a smaller pulley too. Oh yeah, still need new tires too!
