Engine Oil

Hey what's up guys. Has wondering what oil brand are you guys running in your 4th gen and what grade. currently has 199,954 miles. Thanks

Never have had any big engine issues and it had conventional from the start so I've stuck with it.... Pennzoil High Mileage oil 5W30. Got a 5 quart jug at walmart for $17. I change it every 4,000-5,000 miles

Thanks uttadms31. Getting ready to do my smog and wanted to change the oil too. Had to change out a couple parts that where bad but looks like everything is good now. Will head over to walmart and pick up some oil

Walmart Supertech 5W30 conventional, every 4-5,000 miles. Currently at 315,000 miles with no issues.

Thanks for the input guys. I changed the oil already. Sorry I didn't know asking a question was such a big deal on here. Felt it was easier to just ask the question and see who would answer. You can delete the thread. Again sorry for any inconvenience this thread might of caused.

once you've been in here awhile you kinda see a lot of the same questions and it gets redundant. we have a search feature to help op out to avoid repeat questions that you and a lot of other members fail to use. kthxbye

Whatever synthetic 10w30 is available at a good price when I am shopping that has this sticker on it.



And any oil filter besides fram.

Conventional Castrol gtx 5w-30 paired with mobile 1 m1-110 filter. Never had a problem/ no leaks. Oil is cheap, like $15 at Walmart but still seems pretty quality
