Solution for measuring EGT's off both banks...

I was at the local performance shop over the weekend looking through the autometer catalog when I saw a pretty cool EGT gauge. It was a single 2 1/16 gauge, but it hooked up to a black control unit, which connected to TWO temperature probes (you had to buy one more) and had a switch so you could go from one to the other. It also said it included an warning sound and light. Much better than trying to run two egt gauges, or just relying on one bank. I didn't get a price, but I'm sure you could from autometer.... just thought I'd share.

So I take it would read the avg of both probes?

I know a few guys who run 2 EGT gauges on certain cars to monitor both manifolds.

No, there is a switch so you can go between one or the other, but it has an alarm that will go off if either one exceeds the set limit...
