I think my BUTT dyno is broke!!!!

Just put my WSP y-pipe on. Some of those bolts were nasty, but job done at last!!

Anyway, I let the car warm up for a bit and then went for a spirited drive. I couldn't really tell much of a difference. Also the car didn't seem to be much louder either.

So I decided its time to clean up and get some food so I head over to my girls apartment.

*edit* not telling this part of the story *edit*

On the way home on the interstate I get a chance to test out my new mod. I am pacing some sort of F-body with double dual exhaust (looked like small stock exhaust pipes??) We are pacing each other through traffic and come around this curve to an open stretch straight stetch of road {no cars in front of us}. (On this particular stretch I can usually get up to about 120 becuase toward the middle it starts to incline before the next slight curve.)

The f-body (who knows what modle??) punches it at about 70 so of course I am sitting in third and I nail it too.

***making story shorter..... were racing here, please don't try this at home***

By the end of the stretch I am climbing past 130 and have put several cars on him. So in conclusion, my butt dyno is broken!! Going to the track again this weekend to see what the real gains actually are.

MEVI next!!!!

Yep, ECU is reset and I should have about 200 miles on the car by the time I get to the track this weekend.

Shooting for 14.5's- 14.6's .

And if I don't beat my best I am selling the car.

Try reclining your chair a little bit..and scooting it foreward..the geometry change might be enough to make your butt dyno more precise.

bwaaahahaha good subject title . Y-pipe isn't an immediate change...reset the ecu and it has to learn the new part...drive like a bat outta heck for a little while and you may then feel the new feeling in your rear end.

lol

I allways reset my ECU after a mod, but....

Doesn't the ECU go into a closed loop at WOT meaning that it is a preset program that it runs? Now I can see how resetting the ECU would change the reset of the throttle positions becuase they are open looped, but not sure on WOT??

Even though I say this I allways reset the ECU after a mod though!

The other day I thought my car felt a bit slow lately. I then had to use an Automatic I-30 for the day and realized just how quick my car really is compared to stock. I think you just get used to it eventually.
