http://www.daishintrading.com/stock/...AN/N14042.html

Take a look at it, and then convert the 660,000 yen to USd on Quanda.com via the link below ..

http://www.oanda.com/convert/classic

You come up with what... try as of today's currency conversion only $5479.00 tell me that isn't insane!

Of course then figure the cost to ship to the states, customs charges, etc. and you add another $3000 - $5000 maybe maximum!

Anyone wanns go for that! I sure as hell would!

Oh yeah I also forgot to mention it is a 5-speed, black, and also has low milage. Not to mention the can put the GTR kit on it!

Man I wish I had $10k to waste!

And yes I realize that is a GTS-T not a GTR or GTR Vspec, but come on!

it's a valid point, although you're right, it probably could have been worded differently

it's not 3000-5000 for shipping. Its a lot less to CA then figure 500 more dollars to ship it to the east coast.

Well, The price tag of the car doesn't stop there. You still have to get it legalized. You have to pay customs.
I researched all this in the winter of 2001/2002 because I really wanted to import a 99 WRX STi. I ordered all this crap for it. If importing cars were that easy, we would all be rolling around in EVOs, STi's, and GTRs.

If you want more info on importing cars into the US:
http://www.customs.gov/top/contact.htm

1) Click order up to 5 publications
2) Get a copy of Importing or Exporting a car
3) Get a copy of Importing into the US
4) Enter address and Submit order
it's all free, get back some of the tax dollars your paid! and for some of you, get some back for the taxes you avoided..you IRS escapees, you.

I inquired about that car. Here is their response.

Dear Sir
We would like to sell this nice SKYLINE but
I think it is difficult to send to USA as American
government prohibit to import Japanese car . But if
found any good way , please let us know . We are very
very happy to sell this car for you .
Now we have put GTR kits on this car ( pics are attached )
I hope hearing from you .
Thank you very much & best regards,

Masahiko Hatazawa

I can't imagine being able to dive a stick left handed like that. I guess it would take getting used to but it would probraly be worth if you don't destroy the car by the time you get used to it

You could get an R34 from motorex as we all know, but you would have to mortgage your house and sell your soul. I think there around 90,000 from them. I met a couple of guys from Austrailia, of course the only thing that I was asking them about were cars. They said that you could pick up an R34 for about 25,000 US there

it would be nice to have a skyline and when your friends or family members ask to drive it, be like "well can you drive a right hand car?"

and then say, "well you're sure as hell not going to learn on my Skyline!"
