What gauge power wire would I need?

I have 4 gauge running to the back of the car powering my XS6600. The amp puts out max RMS of 600 watt. Now if I double that power, could I get away with just 1/0 gauge wire? Or should I just add another 4 gauge?

0 gauge can deliver more power than dual 4 gauge wires.
