I understand Stillen is not selling a SC kit for automatics. Does anyone have any options for us GLE owners? Believe it or not it is my girlfriend that wants the supercharger the most, she keeps buggin me and I think I am out of luck with Stillen. How many of you out there are thinking of a SC for your Automatic? Maybe we can get Stillen to make a 2000+ Automatic kit.

 

problems that they encountered, with Diederik's. I would assume that if you told Stillen that you had a 5 SPD, and had it installed there would be no problem, just rememeber that stillen would not be responsible for anthing that would go wrong, such as tranny.

 

ye i got an auto max too and i wanted a SC kit for it... contact diedrick (DMan_2KMax) ask him for the name of the shop he used because now they know how to put the kit on... they could help u... just tell stillen u got a 5spd... here is the forum where i was talkin to deidrick about it...

it doesn't matter if you have a auto or 5 spd... all warranty is down the drain anyways..so why not take it to the MAX.

...having so many problems with the superchargers for the auto 5th gen max. In the past he made the SMX maxima, were all those manual transmission cars? It's a shame no one has developed a supercharger for the auto 2k-2k1 max that fits properly, as for the transmission holding up maybe a lower boost would take care of the problem.

Hey guys if you really want the Stillen supercharger and happen to have an auto tranny go ahead and order it and tell them that your car is a 5-speed. Then give my shop, Alamo Autosport, in Arlington, TX a call at 817-860-4300 and ask to speak with Chris or Bryce. Tell them about your situation and that you heard about Chris modifying the airfilter assembly unit on Diederik's car. Bryce and Chris are both real cool and I'm sure would be willing to help you out or talk with the mechanics at your local shop. I'd even be willing to take my car back into Alamo Autosport so Chris could look at my airfilter mounting bracket and measure it to manufacture a few for your cars. Let me know if I can help any of you out. You can give me a call at the office at 817-335-1990. I just got my Cattman SS y-pipe installed today at Alamo and man let me tell you my car really runs great now. I'm going to dyno it next week and I'll post the results then. Even with the 235/45R17 Nitto 555 Extremes it will chirp 2nd gear almost every time under WOT. Good luck guys.
