Mine didnt have a built in antenna like inside the unit, it is an external antenna that has to be mounted on the inside of the rear window.

So how's the TV reception???? good, bad, or ok? does the antenna that you use connect to the unit through a coxial cable connection? I'm considering getting this TV tuner LCD that has an antenna built on it, the type that's like a redio antenna when you pull it out, but it also has a connection for an external antenna, but does not come with it.... thanks for any info.

The reception on my car is crystal. I mean at times clearer than my normal TV at home. It is fairly good even if Im driving in areas where the signal is strong, but you still get that signal glitch that happens all the time which you cant get around.
