What do you guys think of Brembro Disc rotors?
What do you guys think of Brembro Disc rotors?
I'm talking about the OEM replacement blanks. I had a new set of NISSAN rotors put on in September with my old EBC greens left on there and the are already moderately warped. I don't have any stuck calipers(atleast I don't think) and I'm an angel on my brakes...no hard braking unless an emergency pops up.
Also, do you guys like Hawk performance pads?

The hawk pads are a decent pad. They are NOT the best that you can buy, but they are very decent pads, and they also have minimal dusting.
As far as your rotors warping, I would try to get the Brembo slotted rotors. Or if you can find them, get the Brembo cross-dimpled/slotted rotors. They will dissipate the heat better and minimize warping. They also decrease brake fade.....

(this can get ugly)
Honda AutoX'ers prefer AMMCO. They sell them at autozone for $20 or so. They are suppose to be the most resistant to brake fade, better than AEM and Brembo. I thought Brembo's were suppose to be fade resistant (I have the 13" 4-piston Gran Turismo set). My brother borrows the car to take up to San Francisco...returns the car to me with warped rotors.
My nissan rotors aren't THAT warped, but i can kinda tell. Sometimes its there...sometimes less. The fact is, i've been bent over for 80 bucks a pop for nissan rotors when these brembro blanks can be had for 34 each from the tirerack. Why even pay a shop 15 a piece to turn down my current ones when I can get new for double that. And I think I want a harder pad than the EBC they last 1.5 years TOPS and thats with 10K miles of solid highway this summer.
PS. I'm going to do the work myself...this should be a real adventure. 3rd gen BBS here I come......HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
