I want to put 245-45-17 there's any problem with rubbing on the front wheels.
There's anybody have these tires, i want some comments.
What kind of larger of wheels i put 17X7.5 or 17X8

 

You will need wheels that are at least 8" wide. Rubbing should not be an issue if the wheels have an offset of greater than 35....

 

I have 17x8 with 245/45 R17 and have no rubbing. I also have h&r and tokico.

 

You have any pictures of your car?? I'm playing with the Idea of 245/45 on my 17x8 rims. Also, anyone try Spacers in the rear??? Would like my rims a bit closer to the Edge. I also have H&R Springs..

 

H&R makes 15 mm spacers that would accomplish what you are looking for... a few people here have these.

 

Is it just a plate or does it actually bolt onto the Hub and gives me 5 new studs to mount my wheel on. I'ld hate to put a plate in there and my rim is holding on by a few threads on the Lug. Don't want to loose any tires going down the Hwy

as-is, the spacers just sit on the existing studs. You can get longer studs in addition to the spacer to give you more thread. But with 15mm spacer, you may still be ok with the stock studs....

 

BTW that site lists the thread on our lugs as being 12x1.5 ... it should be 12x1.25 instead

Another question with the profile 45 do you feel hard rebound when you pass on hole, it's it comfortable like stock tire???

 

You will "feel" the road a little more with the wider tire and less sidewall. Its not uncomfortable to me at all. It all depends on your tastes but I highly doubt you will dislike the ride. It feels much more solid with real tires instead of the potenzas.

 

I have 235/45/17 on 17x8 rims with a 40mm offset and I have a slight rub against the plastic sheild over the oil filter when I turn the wheel all the way to the left. It is only the passenger side wheel. Does anyone else have this problem?

 

i have 245/45/17s on 17 by 7.5.. and I have NO PROBLEMS.

 

I think it may be b/c of your Offset. Most of us are running 38mm.

 

I have 17x8 Konig Tantrums, offset 40+, with Bridgestone S-03 245/45/ZR17 and no rubbing. Hope I can say the same after I put the Eibach's on next weekend!
