where has everyone bought there O2 sensors from?
To those who have replaced their O2 sensors....
I was happily driving down I-81 in the storm last night and my Service Engine Soon light came on. I got the Front Right Heated O2 Sensor code from my car for the thrid time so I figure I might as well get it replaced. I also got the 0115 code last night too, lean mixture.
I'm just hoping that the sensor set off the 0115 (I've noticed no performance problems, she's as smooth as the day I got her). The thing that sucks is I'm about 250 miles away from home visiting relatives for Christmas. I have to drive a good 2 hrs to my aunt's Thursday, 3 hrs to my grandmom's Friday, and almost 4 hrs home Saturday. Will it kill my car to not get the sensor replaced asap with it throwing the 0115 code? I have done my searching looking for where to buy a direct OEM replacement (I don't want to splice) and this is the cheapest I found: Bosch O2 Sensor
I've read in posts about how people have been getting ripped taking their cars to shops for these sensors. I rather not have to take it in to an unfamiliar shop unless my car will die somewhere along the way in my traveling the next couple days. Since today is Christmas I can't really call around for local prices, but I will in the morning. I've read that Autozone sells them for $80 or so. Should I get a part locally and pay extra $ and have it replaced asap or can it wait till I get home when I can save $20.
Where have you guys bought yours from and how much did you end up paying? I have most of my tools in my trunk (I have a PS STS and some DC clears to install
...plus you never know) so I think I will be able to install it myself. Any advice is always appreciated. Thanks guys. Merry Christmas!

Yes, a bad O2 Sensor will/may make your engine lean/rich. Your ECU monitors your exhaust on the amount of O2 and fuel in the mixture. A bad O2 sensor will cause this problem. You are safe to drive your car, but I advise you to buy a new one as soon as you can. And while you are at it, you might as well buy a left one as well. I bought mine cheap and new at www.foreignpartsplace.com . Got them to my door in 3 days.
As far as replacing them yourself. If you can turn a wrench, you can change an O2 Sensor. All you do is jack up the car, using jackstands. Unplug the old O2 sensor harnesses and unscrew the old O2 sensors. Install the new ones in reverse order and you are good to go.....

So its safe to wait till I get home Saturday? I'll just order it from online and it should arrive around the time I'll get home. Just to make it clear....there's no need for me to rush around tomorrow and find a part and get it installed before I drive the next 600 mi between tomorrow and Sat? Thanks
PS: The foreignpartsplace link works but when you go to the nissan section it doesn't work...Do they charge less than $60 for Bosch sensors?

I bought mine from here:

I bought all 3 sensors at once for about $210 with shipping. 2 where Bosch the other was some other brand. After 5 months I have had no problems. Fast shipping too!! Ask them for a discount code, maybe they will give you one.

Thanks everyone...
Do you mean by looking thru the windshield it looks like its raised? I might have taken the picture at a slight elevation, otherwise I don't really know.
In person the car's level tho, just little high off the ground still.

I paid $158 for the front two sensors. Only to find out after I bought them that I had a bad fuse. So check your fuse first before you buy new ones.

The best place i found was from Brown Nissan in Tempe. They had rear one for 52.00 . That not aftermarket! Even with shipping it came out much cheaper. http://www.motorplace.com/brown-tempe/
Hope that helps
I ordered and received the sensor about 2 weeks ago now. I went to attempt to install it but its nearly impossible to reach. What tools should have you guys used? If need be, would a store like Autozone have an O2 sensor tool? Would they really let me just borrow it from them? I've read that people have done something along that line but it seems weird that they would just let someone walk out with their tools. Thanks.
