How do you tell when Intake needs cleaned

I've been driving for the past 3 months with a JWT popcharger... for some reason as the time goes... my car didn't seem to be as powerful as before (first day i installed the JWT intake)... i'm having my car get checked soon... so a cleaning will do first... but it seems that my car is lagging.... it will take a second when i hit my gas to respond to the engine... so i don't know if that's my car... or jus me.. but it feels slower.. lagging... i remember someone messing around my throttle cable.. or whatever.. and that made the car feel a little better.. what else can be done.. a clean intake?

BASICALLY my question is... how do i make my car feel new.. and smoother driving?

Clean your TB, change your oil and maybe switch over to Synthetic if you have lots of money, change you Transmission fluid, change your fuel filter, check your o2 sensors, and change your spark plugs/wires if they need to be changed. Bascially a tune up is what you need.
