When are all the altezza owners and those that want altezzas going to realize that if you ask for the .org opinion 80% are going to say they hate altezzas because they look ricey. If you like it get it, if you don't then don't. Don't ask here because the only time you'll get favorable response is if you have red/clear tails. Personally I like them but i'm one of the few.

chrome = bad

They look good on the following colors:

chrome - only on white

carbon - black, red, white, silver

gunmetal (black chrome) - black, silver, tan

 

I have gen 1's in my sig...

 

I have a black '99, and gunmetal gen2's are the only tail I would swap for. Red/clears are alright, but gunmetals look more modern not "ricey". I'd get 'em if I were you. take some pics I'd love to see how they turn out. one,

Hey also has anyone else put the 5th gen rear side markers on their 4th Gens about where they are on the 5th gen?

 

I have the same idea I've just never got around to doing it.....

 

Daytime = Rice (all color cars)
Night time = cool (all color cars)

 

i agree... daytime = for a more showy out going look.... altezzas...
for a cleaner more conservative look.... red/clears


nightime = red/clears are more sleeper... altezzas say my car is hooked up let's race....

 

i agree with you when u say how altezzas scream "lets race!" but i dont like altezzas lights on maximas. the only types that could pull off the look are all black with black chrome altezzas and white with the skyline mod

 

and a white max with crome altezzas is pretty sweet if you have the crome rims to go with them. And Mirror tint windows.

i think the CF and the gunmetal altezza lights look nice since they arent really played out yet like the chromes (at least where i live) im torn between which light to get. Im waiting till i get my car painted, either the stock maxima silver color or a blue color similar to the VW jeta (I think its called blue lagoon) do you think gunmetal lights would go well on a blue max??? any pics???

 

Dont have a pic of it but blue with the crome tails would look extremely nice.
