REMUS exhaust are Very good quality. They are quite expensive too . They could be found in BMP magazines (BMW specific magazine)and other European sports car magazines. Check to see if it says REMUS (should say on the tips). My brother-in-law use to have one on his 325is BMW. I have given considerations to this brand of mufflers, but it was out of my league(due to their high prices) . I have choosen the 5th gen muffler , sold to me by a fellow Maxima.org member.
If you are happy with the exhaust note, and the look;then may I ask why are you thinking of changing? Is it rusting? Too loud ? If you do not mind kindly post some close-up pictures of the muffler.
Disclaimer: I am no expert so you might want to wait to see if someone has more input to your woes.
