$94 good deal for Maxspeen Lowering Springs??

Ok, after putting on the new wheels (17 inch Konig Monsoons)...don't rag me..they were $200 w/ tires....

I have a ton of wheel gap. saw some yellow maxspeed springs on ebay for $94 for all four. good deal??

Also..should I get new shocks too, or will the stockies work ok?? The car is at 76 k miles..

ivolley ...the guy I bought the wheels from, said he had stock shocks with lowering springs, and his rode fine.

Also, the guy on ebay says these springs lower it 1.4 inches up front, and 1.3 inches in the back.

thanks..

Thats not a bad price for them.

At 76k it would probably be a good idea to get some struts. Who knows how long your stock ones will last. Maybe a week, maybe 6 months, but at some point they will go. It depends a lot on your driving style as well as the roads you drive on.

I'm on my stock struts and have been for two months and I have no problems, but I also have considerably less miles.

I've got the Maxspeed with stock strut set-up and the ride is great; very "stock-like". If you need more info, do a search under Maxspeed.

Can remember what I paid, but I think it was $105 shipped, so $94 sounds fair.

I dropped something like 1.25 front and .75 rear, but this was on day one. I have not measured it again yet, but think it's settled a little more since.

I am interested in doing the same thing. How much for the typical installation if I stay with the stock shocks/struts? Is this something to even attempt myself? I installed a FSTB and Intake, but this might be more than I can attempt? Any shops in Dallas, TX that you would recommend to do this?
