I was just curious if a set of 6x9 speakers can be fitted in the rear deck without to much work? Sorry if this has been asked before.

You need to tell us what year/model car you have!!!!

 

3rd Gen - Not likely. Some cutting will be required to make them fit. The normal size is 6" for the rear speakers in a 3rd Gen unless it has the Bose system. The Bose has 6x9s in the rear.

5th Gen - The rear speakers are in the doors and are 6.5"

 

What about 4th Gen?

 

for some reason, i thought all 3rd gens came with the bose...whatelse did they come with?

 

Sorry, I forgot it's for a 4th Gen without bose system.

Yes, there will be some cutting needed to make them fit. They are 6" or 6.5" speakers in the rear package shelf.
