Questions about budget ypipe ordering

Can you only order budget ypipe from on the phone?
Also how long did it take for you to get it?

you can order it by email apparantly, but I think its kind of sketchy, cause there isnt any real order form, you just sent them the info... I called and ordered mine on Dec. 31 and it came 10 days later, so there wasnt any real wait. Plus I had to pay 5 bucks or something for the long distance call. Nothing difficult though, good luck. I still have yet to put mine on though.

I called from work so it didn't cost me anything.

Took about 12 days shipping, worth the wait!

I used my old ones and have had no problems.

I ordered mine by e-mail, stating year of Max and they called me to get my credit card info. Had it 6 days later.

Budget number

there is a toll-free number for Budget. 1 800 256 4482 (stolen from Orbit's post)

Took about a week to get my Y pipe to the Cincinnati area.

SS = Stainless Steel
AS = Aluminized Steel (if in cold climate do not want this do to rust)
Mandrel Bent is a way pipes are bent, to put simply is done without creases

I ordered my y via cell phone, cost me a buck and a half for the call, ordered with cc (credit card) and got it in about 2 weeks. Very nice product, you will be happy. I actually don't belive that they sell the AS Y pipes anymore...by the way they call em F pipes.

I call it a y-pipe like everyone else here does....but the pipe looks a lot more like an "F" than a "Y".

Straighten em out Felix, I agree they should be called an F-Pipe.

Crazy Americans don't know their alphabet.

Cattman (http://www.cattman.com/) is supposedly developing a full header (already prototyped) that replaces the y-pipe/f-pipe, as well as the exhaust manifolds and claims to produce substantial gains over current aftermarket y's.

The Catch: no "available date," yet.

Still, keep this in mind if you're not in a rush to buy a performance exhaust upgrade, as your aftermarket y-pipe will be of no use to you if you want to get the full Cattman header if/when it becomes available.

I don't really like the idea of long headers. Since it's from cattman it'll probably cost $500 so just stick with the y or f? pipe...
