$675 for stock replacement clutch??
$675 for stock replacement clutch??
I went to the local dealer (Jerry Rome) here in MA and asked them about the bearing noise ive been hearing. I was expecting to hear that i needed a rebuild but they said that it was probly the Throw-out bearing thats gone bad. The clutch doesnt slip at all and its got 108k miles on it. One tech said it was 675 installed and the other 2 techs didnt believe the cost till they saw it. Is that price a bit high??

The price at the manufacturer's site (link above) is high, probably because they don't want to cut into their distributor's pricing.
If you search online, you'll find this clutch for considerably less through one of the many distributors.
for dealer clutch replacement that does not sound all too high, I know locally for a stock-clutch replacement I payed 500$ parts/labor to a reputable shop, but not a dealer... ACT street(what i presently am running) is a very nice clutch, but I know many shops will not install clutches they did not purchase, and even then you are looking at slightly higher money ...

The only reasons im looking at stock and dealer installed is cause, well honestly i know of no reputable shops around here other than nissan and they dont mind mods at all. And as for it being stock, well ive heard alot about how it grips quick and heard... i like how the stock engages. I may be going turbo or SC at somepoint, but i have other stuff that i must do first like an exhaust and VI

You can spend almost the same $ for the ACT as OEM if you shop around. Running boost, you'll be much better off with the ACT.
