I was driving down the road last night. The temp was -14deg f. My fog lights had been on for about 20 min now. I went to the store, got out and saw the cracks on my fogs. Both of them . I am thinking that the cold cracked them. Hairline cracks on both. Is this going to take in water now? I don't have the $$ to get new fogs. Would something like the 3M clear plastic stuff you put on your hood work on my fogs? If not, is there anything I can do?

Go to junk yard and get some for cheapo

 

Perhaps your PIAA bulbs were running too hot and the hot and cold mixture cracked your lens?

Winters in Toronto is very cold and when I had my stock bulbs they were fine...I changed to PIAA's and I got a crack also.

Just my 2 cents.

 

I heard of some 3m stuff to put on your lenses that keep rocks from breaking your lenses up to 100mph don't know if it'll work for heat, but atleast you won't have to worry about rocks.
